This site is about the photographs I take and the ongoing discourse I have with my dog on topics photographic during our many strolls, walks and hikes.
The pictures are Copyright (ed) 2014 – 2018 all rights reserved, please do not copy them. Should you like and wish to use one or more of them contact me privately using the form below.
Most Musings attempt to analyze a specific question related to digital photography based on facts and the science behind them. Every paragraph should be treated as a question, even though it may be written matter of factly for convenience. The language is that of photometry, optics, digital sensors, colorimetry and photography; the topics are typically of an intermediate level.
If you cannot find the picture or article you are looking for you can always click on the search icon top right and throw a few keywords into the relative box.
I welcome feedback, comments and constructive critique to further my understanding of the art and science of photography – and to fine tune the posts. So feel free to drop a line of encouragement and/or many lines with your thoughts below those posts that are incorrect, unclear or that you feel could be improved.

I dislike intrusive cookie banners that ask you to agree to their use when first visiting a site because I am never quite 100% sure what I am agreeing to, so you will not find one here. I am a private person and, other than what WordPress, Google Analytics and Akismet anti-spam do in the regular running of a plain vanilla blog site, I personally do not actively collect, process or share with others any bits of personal data that you may leave behind when visiting my pages.
